This project is a visual diary of a carefree youth that existed before the war — before everything changed. I was born and rising in Kyiv and captured moments of my friends and surroundings, unaware that these images would later take on a deeper meaning. The war reshaped our reality, drawing a sharp line between the past and the present.
Through these photographs I revisit a world that now feels distant. These images are fragments of that past—a tribute to the people, places and moments that shaped me.
This is my love letter to Ukraine, to the memories of a time that will never return.
